TOOLS & MATERIALS

Hook size 3.5 mm · Scissors and needle · Cotton yarn (weight/length: 50g = 105 meters) · 8/4 cotton yarn for embroidery · Small wooden button for decoration

POTHOLDER - make two

Every row is turned by chaining 1. Chain 31 and start in the second loop from the hook:

Row 1-35: 1 sc in each stitch (30)

The potholder consists of two sides, that are crocheted together. You can embroider both pieces, or just one. But remember only to embroider one side on each piece. Find the pattern at the bottom.

One cross stitch is made over 4 single crochets - two from the first row, and two from the row below. I outlined my potholder with sewing thread to guide me - which was easy to remove afterwards.

When you have fasten all ends of you embroidery, place the two pieces wrong side on wrong side, with the embroidery showing. Crochet all the way around through both loops on both pieces with sc's. To turn a corner, you have to make 3 sc in the same stitch.

When you have gone all the way around, you can fasten it or make a strap. Chain 15 and crochet 1 sc in each stitch starting in the second loop from the hook. Cut the yarn, fold the strap and sew it in place with the button.

REDSKABER & MATERIALER

Række 1-35: 1 fm i hver maske (30)

Grydelappen består af to sider, der hækles sammen. Husk dog kun at brodere én side på hver del. Find mønsteret i bunden.
